 Product Warranty

VScom do not sell any product to end users. This warranty terms apply for distributors and reseller of VScom products only. Endusers have to follow the warranty policy of their dedicated suppliers.
VSCOM products are manufactured from new parts. In some very few cases, VSCOM products may not be completly new, e.g. have been previously used as demostration items, (In these cases the reseller will be notified in advance and asked for acceptance). Regardless, VSCOM's standard warranty terms apply to all new and used products.
VSCOM warrants that the Products shall be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of delivery provided that the Product was properly installed and used. Defects, malfunctions or failures of the warranted Product caused by damage resulting from acts of God (such as floods, fire, etc.), environmental and atmospheric disturbances, other external forces such as powerline disturbances, host computer malfunction, plugging the board in under power, or incorrect cabling and damage caused by misuse, abuse and unauthorized alteration or repair are not warranted.
This warranty is limited to the repair and/or replacement of the defective product during its warranty period. VSCOM will repair and/or replace any product found to be defective within the first six months of purchase provided the product was properly installed and used. The Reseller must obtain a Return Merchandize Authorization (RMA) number prior to returning the defective Product to VSCOM for service. The Reseller agrees to insure the product or assume the risk of loss or damage in transit, to prepay shipping charges and to use the original package with complete parts. Repaired or replaced products are warranted for the remainder of the original product's warranty period.
Limitation of Liability:
The provisions of the warranty are in lieu of any other warranty, whether expressed or implied, written or oral, and VSCOM's liability arising out of the sale of the product and its use, whether based on warranty, contract, negligence, product liability or otherwise shall not exceed the original cost of the product. In no event shall VSCOM be liable for unintended or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, non compatibility with customer's application, loss of profits or use damages arising out of the manufacture sale or supplying of the product.
